Bondie Prints: rebuilt for AI search — 2× more visible in ChatGPT and Gemini.
Bondie Prints is a Los Angeles store making 3D-printed parts — gauge pods, gas cap holders and brackets — for modified cars, especially the Mitsubishi Evo and JDM scene. The goal: get named by AI assistants when enthusiasts ask who makes these parts.
Buyers ask AI. AI named everyone else.
When real AI assistants were asked who makes 3D-printed parts for cars like the Evo, Bondie was named on just one of four money questions — competitors like SpeedCircuit and Shift Koncepts won the rest. Underneath, the store was missing most of the structured data and on-page signals AI engines read before they recommend a brand: GEO readiness sat at 35/100, SEO at 44/100.
Rebuild the foundation — then measure against real AI.
We worked in a loop — read the data, find what AI engines couldn’t see, ship a targeted fix, re-ask the real engines — rather than one big rebuild.
- Built the AI-search foundation — added the structured data engines rely on (FAQ, product and breadcrumb schema), unified the brand into one clean entity, and freed the collection pages so they can finally rank and be cited.
- Made every page legible to search — unique titles and descriptions across the whole catalogue, plus real on-page headings on the Mitsubishi, Nissan and FAQ pages that match what people search for.
- Surfaced real proof — two independent review sources (Etsy 4.9★ / 24 and Trustpilot 4.7★ / 29) and FAQ facts cited to primary sources, so AI systems can read and trust them.
Re-measured against the same four questions on real AI engines, Bondie’s visibility doubled: it’s now named on two of four — including the broad “who makes custom 3D-printed accessories for modified cars” question that both ChatGPT and Gemini now answer with Bondie. Here is every number, and where each one comes from:
| Metric | Before → after | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI-search visibility | 25%50% | doubled | AI-visibility checks (ChatGPT, Gemini) |
| Money questions cited on | 1 of 42 of 4 | +1 | AI-visibility checks (ChatGPT, Gemini) |
| GEO readiness score | 3569 / 100 | +34 | Boas Media GEO audit |
| SEO score | 4477 / 100 | +33 | Boas Media SEO audit |
Measured against Bondie Prints’ own pre-engagement baseline. AI visibility is sampled on real AI engines (ChatGPT and Google Gemini, grounded) — never web-search guesses. Honest open front: Bondie still loses both flagship gauge-pod questions to Shift Koncepts and SpeedCircuit — an off-site authority gap that is the next cycle’s work. Outcomes vary by business — these are one store’s real numbers, not a promise.
